Songs, these days, seem to have no real meaning anymore. It seems that all the songs out their are about partying, drugs, and a whole bunch of inappropriate and unimportant things. And most of them are just good songs because of the beats they have in them. So, to find a really good song with an important message and meaning I had to go back a couple of years.
Michael Jackson, almost always had a song with a meaning. His song '' They dont really care about us''
was no exception. In this song he talks about how people are always being judged and accused. It's about the pain that is caused by prejudiced and hatred. When Michael Jackson was asked about this song he responded by saying that he is the voice for everyone: The Jews, the whites, the blacks, and the skinhead. He also told that he wanted to bring attention to social and poitical problems. And tell the injustification of young people and how the system can wrongly accussed them. Even though it doesn't spell it all out in the song, it makes you think and also has a really nice beat to it.

"Facebook's Dangers"
In the magazine ''Arkansas Next'' there were many interesting articles. Most were about how to get into college and what kind of jobs there are out there and how much they pay. But only one really stood out to me and it was on page 86 titled "Facebook's Dangers". The article informes readers that things we think are cool and are "liked" by our peers may cost us more than we think.
Colleges like to look at teens facebook profiles to make decisions about who they should let into their colleges. So when you put a wild post from a wild party you attended, that helps committees giving scholarships out make up their mind about you from a pool of recipients. Facebook also can cost you a job. One way is by posting " I cant stand my lame boss". That post that is "liked by all your friends, can get you fired. Another way is if you post a picture of yourself at a wild party, doing crazy and wild things that is also "liked" by your friends. This can make your boss question your judgement or make assumptions about what kind of person you are. And can ultamitaly get you fired and unable to get another job.
After reading the article I asked myself so what do I do? Do I just stop using facebook? Or just stop putting pictures or posting anything? The quick solution is to just put your facebook on private so that only the people you want can see it.
