Reading Between the Lines

Songs, these days, seem to have no real meaning anymore. It seems that all the songs out their are about partying, drugs, and a whole bunch of inappropriate and unimportant things. And most of them are just good songs because of the beats they have in them. So, to find a really good song with an important message and meaning I had to go back a couple of years.
Michael Jackson, almost always had a song with a meaning. His song '' They dont really care about us''
was no exception. In this song he talks about how people are always being judged and accused. It's about the pain that is caused by prejudiced and hatred. When Michael Jackson was asked about this song he responded by saying that he is the voice for everyone: The Jews, the whites, the blacks, and the skinhead. He also told that he wanted to bring attention to social and poitical problems. And tell the injustification of young people and how the system can wrongly accussed them. Even though it doesn't spell it all out in the song, it makes you think and also has a really nice beat to it.
